Words Are Dangerous

My House III
8" x 8"
Watercolor and pen on vellum

My brain is full.  Words are dangerous—
so I won't give them to you tonight.

You can find more art based on human bones here, or check out the other images in the "My House" series.

Old and Silent Spaces

Old spaces suck parts of people into them.

When you stop to listen for them, part of you gets sucked in, too.

This is a place I once lived for a little while.

I wish I remembered it better.

This picture was taken in northern England at Capernwray Hall.

Crooked City

when
can we leave this
this tangle
this evil tangle
this dirty corner?
from muddy eyes
we look
out.

this crooked city:
it eats us and
now we
can't get out.
