I made this piece as a graduation gift for my sister Kenzie.
She likes to sing.
But she isn't a bird--she's a human.

• 6" x 8" piece of wood
• acrylic ink,
• charcoal
• brown chalk
• tracing paper
• scrap paper for the bird
• Staedler pens

2 Things I Observed in San Diego

A wounded cactus, a bird taking flight at sundown . . . these are two of the things I observed in San Diego.

I also stumbled across an astronomy club down town, and they let me take a look through their telescope.

I got to see four of Jupiter's moons.  It made understand: there's a lot more to see.
